Chornobyl Tour expands its activities to the Kursk NPP
In connection with the successful advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into Russia, in particular to the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant, Chornobyl Tour announces the launch of a new program to scale up the unique Ukrainian business of Chornobyl tourism kursk.tours. From now on, the company's menu includes one-day tours to the Kursk NPP, excursions inside the nuclear power plant, as well as two-day tours with overnight stays in hotels in Kurchatov.
The initiator of the new direction was Yaroslav Yemelianenko, director and co-founder of Chornobyl Tour, a national operator that suffered significant losses due to the Russian seizure of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Mr. Yemelianenko's business was virtually destroyed during the occupation, but now the company has a chance to recover.
The Kursk NPP is strikingly similar to the Chornobyl NPP: its operating part is the same "Chornobyl" RBMK-1000 reactors (now banned in Europe), in the same number (4), built almost in the same years. Therefore, the Chornobyl Tour team, which has been conducting tours to the Chornobyl NPP for decades, will optimally use its professional knowledge, skills and experience to organize routes to the Kursk NPP.
The company has already received the first orders to visit the Kursk NPP from its regular tourists from England and the United States of America. Pre-orders are still being accepted.
